I haven't always had great experience in this store but on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I needed two new batteries in my truck. I learned more about batteries that day from Damian than anyone in that stores probably knows about batteries. I was in a hurry or I would have went in and met the new DM. He is making changes in that store and so far, great improvements.

The store manager, Amber, does NOT know what she is doing and shouldn't be the manager. Based on having to come back for a part that should have been brought to my fiance's attention when where were in there TWICE before (once to price and once to buy) it was made clear she doesn't know enough about mechanics to be assisting customers without a check sheet or more training. It has also been brought to my attention that she is not receptive to help offered from staff who are clearly more knowledgeable than she, not to mention she doesn't ask for help, either. it has been further discovered that the district manager has been spoken to about this manager who has no working knowledge of mechanics or theory of it but she is still there being non receptive and selling customers incomplete DIY kits. We needed a specific tool to install the rear driver side brake on my VW. She did not mention this tool either time we were there. that is a major deal because its brakes. its life or death. supposed there was a way to complete the pad/shoe change WITHOUT that specific tool? I'd be driving and the brakes would quit because SHE didn't have sense to ask if we had that tool or needed. She needs to be more receptive to training, more willing to ask for help and the district manager needs to listen to feedback on her lack of performance as a manager. To be an effective manager you need to become a subject matter expert or know how to refer customers to those around you who are. she isn't and she doesn't. As a result we chose to handle all future needs for my car with auto zone. This was completely unacceptable. I'd give a half star if i could. Feedback: that manager needs to be trained or be fired.
